Welcome!! Glad you made time for us today! I know you’re busy so we will get right to work.

When I started searching for answers about my purpose and passions I had no idea where to start. As I look back over time I began to put the dots together about how I came to find my calling in life. It did not happen overnight because it calls for soul searching honesty and some trial and error on our part. I will share with you the steps that I stumbled through, most in the wrong order by the way, but lastly found what I have been searching for, my passions and purpose. The most important find is that this all begins with self-awareness and understanding our mindsets. Why we think the way we do.

The first step you need to take is to take a personality test. If you’ve already done this great, if not, there are two that I recommend.

The first one is the Meyers-Briggs Personality test and you can take it for free at

The second one is the DISC profile. This one is not free and is an affiliate link. Click on the picture below to check out all of the info that is available with this test.
48 Days Personality Profiles

After you have taken your personality test and have a better understanding of yourself it’s on to the next step. Click on Amazon and take a look around. Go to the books that most interest you. Make a list of where you were drawn to go. This is yet another insight into your passions. Is it outdoor adventures, mysteries, nature, personal development? It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it is what you are interested in. These are sneak peaks into our purpose.

Begin to try new things in life. Start a new hobby, take a class, listen to podcast that interest you. We will never know for sure what we like if we don’t try new things. Don’t be afraid to try something new. It’s ok to decide that it isn’t what you want. It’s not failure if you get back up and say, “Next.” Trial and error is a great teacher.

I also recommend the following books:

The Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

Power Thoughts by Joyce Meyer

What to say when you talk to yourself by Shad Helmstetter
